Charlotte Restaurant Makes 'Most Romantic' List

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, you may be wondering where in Charlotte to take your love for date night. Well, thanks to the good folks over at OpenTable, they analyzed the reviews from over 12 million patrons across the US to come up with a list of the 100 most romantic restaurants in America. Two North Carolina locations made the list, with one being right here in Charlotte. 

Steak 48 in Apex SouthPark is the only Charlotte restaurant to be named to the list, and there’s no surprise why. This restaurant oozes luxury and class; it truly is the ultimate in fine dining here in the Queen City. 

OpenTable created their list by looking at several features. Obviously there needs to be world-class cuisine, top-notch service, and an interesting setting. But by also looking at customer reviews, OpenTable was able to dive a bit deeper. Their Top 100 list was created by also weighing overall diner rating, total number of reviews, romance factor, and, interestingly, user clout. Reviews from those with a heavy following made a difference. Given the glowing reviews of Steak 48, it’s no wonder it was named one of the top 100 most romantic restaurants in the whole country.
