Boat Lover's Paradise in Cornelius' Crown Harbor on Lake Norman

Crown Harbor is a lovely waterfront community in the beautiful Lake Norman town of Cornelius. If you are an avid boater, this neighborhood is for you. Crown Harbor is the only Lake Norman community with its own multi-level dry-dock marina!!

The neighborhood is located just west of I-77 and a mile north of great shopping, dining and amenities along West Catawba Avenue.

Only 18 miles north of Charlotte and within minutes of Davidson, Huntersville and Mooresville, Crown Harbor is a relaxing community for relaxing and still within commuting distance of the metro Charlotte area.

Crown Harbor is close to Lake Norman YMCA, Davidson College, small-town downtown Cornelius and Birkdale Village for dining and entertainment.

Crown Harbor has a pool that overlooks the marina and waterfront area, but its major draw for water lovers is the multi-story dry dock boat storage. Residents that don’t have direct water access from their home can store their boats at the marina and call for their boat to be launched when they are ready to head out onto the lake. There are also a limited number of on-water slips.

Homes in Crown Harbor were built in the mid-1990s through early 2000s. Homes are a mix of brick veneer, vinyl and stucco sided. The traditional homes range in size from the 2,000s to more than 5,000 square feet on lots of one-quarter to one-half of an acre.

Seven homes sold in Crown Harbor during the last 12 months for an average sales price of $419,429 and $153 per square foot. Those sales averaged more than 99% of list price. Sales ranged from $325,000 to $709,000.

There are currently 8 homes listed for sale in Crown Harbor. Three are under contract as of July 27. List prices range from $399,000 to $900,000.
