Though most people think of lake living near Birkdale Village when they think of the town of Huntersville, there are actually many beautiful neighborhoods to the east of I-77.

Skybrook and Skybrook Golf Club is just one of those residential neighborhoods worth considering if the idea of a resort/country club lifestyle near the lake appeals to you and your family.

Skybrook is located off Eastfield/Harris Road just north of the Highland Creek community and the I-485/I-85 interchange. Skybrook is located entirely in Huntersville, however, part of the community is located in Cabarrus County, while the majority of Skybrook is in Mecklenburg County. The neighborhood is just 15 miles north of Uptown Charlotte and also close to University Research Park, the N.C. Biotech Center in Kannapolis and UNC Charlotte.

When work is done, Skybrook is the perfect place to call home with its resort-style amenities and convenient location just 13 miles from Blythe Park’s public boat ramp access to Lake Norman or Birkdale Village for shopping, dining and entertainment. Concord Mills Mall is also just 4 miles from home!

Everyday shopping and necessities are just outside the neighborhood, so no need to travel far away from home for last-minute errands!

At home, Skybrook offers a beautiful landscape set amid 1,100 acres and a championship 18-hole golf course. The club has a driving range and full-service restaurant, staffed fitness center as well as 6 lighted tennis courts (4 clay, 2 hard top). Skybrook also has 2 swim clubs with competition swimming space as well as areas for relaxing and 2 waterslides.

There is also more than 200 acres of green space and fields for walking, playing and enjoying the countryside, nature trails and fishing ponds.

School zoning for Skybrook is divided. Mecklenburg County children attend Blythe Elementary School, Alexander Middle School and North Mecklenburg High School.

Children living in Cabarrus County are zoned for Cox Mill Elementary School, Harris Road Middle School and Cox Mill High School.
