2023 Lighted Boat Parade

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the waters of Lake Norman came alive with a mesmerizing display of lights, colors, and holiday cheer during the highly anticipated 2023 Lighted Boat Parade. This annual event, held tomorrow, December 16th, showcases the creativity and festive spirit of the Lake Norman community, leaving spectators in awe.

Boats of all sizes transform into floating works of art adorned with twinkling lights, tinsel, and holiday decorations. The parade, which kicks off at 5:30pm at Blythe Landing and weaves its way through the lake, features a diverse array of vessels, from sleek powerboats to charming sailboats, all aglow with the magic of the season.

In addition to food trucks and a visit from Santa, Little Smiles will be on site to collect toys to be shared with the Levine Children’s Cancer Center children.

Families and friends will line the shores, docks, and viewing areas to catch a glimpse of the illuminated spectacles. The twinkling reflections on the water mirror the joy and warmth of the holiday season.
