Eggs Up Grill

As if you needed yet one more reason to move to or vacation in Lake Norman… it would appear a new brunch place has tipped the scales in our favor. After success in three other Charlotte-Mecklenburg burroughs, Eggs Up Grill has made its way to the Lake Norman area complete with an outdoor dining patio. And you know how much we love a patio! 

Opening in Cornelius, this local breakfast favorite includes various staples like signature omelets, pancakes, waffles and French toast. Popular items include the Carne Asada burrito and Egg Bomb BLT, among other selections. (According to a feature by Charlotte Five)

Perhaps the best things on the menu though are the dishes that focus on North Carolina’s access to coastal waters: shrimp and grits, or the coastal crab cake benedict. You can also find other dishes like the ‘Founder’s Hash Benedict’ and a breakfast bowl featuring grits and home fries topped with sausage crumbles, gravy, and 2 eggs. Yes, please!

Lunch service includes burgers, melts and other sandwiches, along with salads. You can find Eggs Up Grill at 19732 One Norman Blvd. in Cornelius. The restaurant is open 6 a.m.-2 p.m. daily, with online ordering, takeout and delivery also available.
