2022 Presidents Cup

One of the best things about living less than 15 minutes from one of the country’s largest cities is access to all the amazing events that happen there. Next week is no exception as Charlotte plays host to the 2022 Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow. The popular golf tournament runs Sept. 20-26 and is expected to attract upwards of 200,000 people. Here’s what you need to know in order to best enjoy the tournament. 

Getting There

Quail Hollow Club is located at 3700 Gleneagles Rd. in southeast Charlotte. Directions from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Interstate 85 North, Interstate 85 South, Interstate 77 North, Interstate 77 South and N.C. 51 can be found on the Quail Hollow Club website.

Parking/Shuttle

Prepaid ticket holders can travel to and from the Presidents Cup on a free shuttle from the Charlotte Convention Center on East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in uptown. The shuttle makes frequent trips so you can ride to and from the tournament at your leisure. 

A number of other parking options are available throughout the city. Each lot has different pricing but each comes with a complimentary shuttle to the main entrance of Quail Hollow Club.

• Charlotte Catholic High School, 7702 Pineville-Matthews Rd.: $40 per day 
• Bojangles Coliseum, 800 Briar Creek Rd.: Free
