Blog > Outdoor Movies at Lake Norman

One of the best perks of life at Lake Norman is the favorable temperatures year round. In fact, at the turn of the 20th century, the piney lands of central North Carolina were considered therapeutic for those suffering from respiratory illnesses as a result of the Industrial Revolution. You could come to this part of the state to breathe in the restorative air of the pines and recuperate. Perhaps that’s why we are so drawn to outdoor events, and why we enjoy them any month of the year.
If you’re looking for the ideal summer event in and around Lake Norman, add an outdoor movie to your calendar!
Cornelius

Movies start at dusk (approximately 8:30). You and the family can enjoy ‘Sing 2’ on August 20th at Robbins Park, and another film on October 29th at Bailey Road Park. This movie is yet to be decided on but will likely have a Halloween angle!
