Grand Opening!

Opening TODAY, September 16th in South End is the second location for Petit Philippe! This trendy wine bar and tasting room is opening on Camden Road in the former Twenty Degrees Chocolate location. You won’t be able to miss it as the exterior is adorned in a gorgeous and brightly painted mural by area artist Jen Hill. 

Petit Philippe will offer a carefully selected array of Western Europe and Pacific Coast wines by the case or bottle while the tasting room will offer wines by the glass. Tasting flights will be available in the evenings Thursday thru Saturday. 

Casey Hickey is opening the wine bar with her husband, Mark Meissner. As they shared with Charlotte Five, “We believe South End is under-served in terms of specialty wine retail given the tremendous growth in the neighborhood,” Meissner said in a statement. “We’re excited to share our love of fine wines from smaller producers.”

Petit Philippe’s South End store hours are as follow: 

• Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. 
• Sunday from 1 p.m.-6 p.m. 
• Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
